About Us

Since 2005, Anna Beauty Academy has operated within a full-service unisex beauty salon where we teach the latest in hair, nails, barbering, skin care, waxing, permanent makeup, micro-blading, massage, and eyelash extensions techniques. Our academy is conveniently located at 778 23RD Street S, Arlington, Virginia, 22202, where we offer complimentary parking behind the building.
The objective of Anna Beauty Academy is to educate and train our students, through theory and practice, toward becoming competent specialists in each of our program offerings. To maximize each student’s potential, we provide a creative, stimulating, and fun learning atmosphere that is flexible and supportive. Moreover, our academy is very proud of our commitment to operating within a clean, safe, and hygienic environment that meets or exceeds industry standards.
What sets our academy apart from other schools is our highly personalized approach that adapts to each student’s instructional needs, schedule, and budget. As a small academy, our vibrant and highly experienced instructors, who since 1999 have been practicing professionals in the salon industry, teach our students one-on-one. Indeed, our highly individualized methods of teaching theory, augmented by practical exercises, optimize the learning process from the first day of instruction. At Anna Beauty Academy, we use every opportunity to maximize every student's potential of becoming a talented and caring, beauty professional.
A primary goal of our programs is to ensure that our students graduate as capable, courteous, and motivated professionals that are prepared to meet all of the necessary licensing requirements in their areas of specialty. Therefore, upon completing the course of study and the required hours of practice, we assist students wherever possible in passing the final written and practical State Board Examinations.
At Anna Beauty Academy, we are incredibly proud of our graduates that have gone on to fulfilling careers as beauty industry professionals, primarily in the District of Columbia and the State of Virginia. Anna Beauty Academy offers highly flexible, individual programs to meet your needs.
Our academy is licensed by the State of Virginia, Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation http://www.dpor.virginia.gov
